Crop Selected PDF Pages

Enter page ranges, preview the red crop boundary, and rebuild only those pages. Content outside the box is not written to the selected rebuilt pages, while unselected pages are not rasterized. Your file remains in your browser.

The output is a newly generated PDF. Unselected page visuals, dimensions, and vector text are normally retained, but outlines, attachments, document-level forms, metadata, and digital signatures may be lost or invalidated; copied pages may also retain shared source resources. For document-wide forensic removal, crop every page or use permanent redaction/full rebuilding.

Crop permanently

Selected pages are rebuilt without pixels outside the box.

Why not use an ordinary CropBox?

Many PDF crop tools only change the visible page boundary, leaving hidden text and images recoverable. This tool rebuilds selected pages from retained pixels, so outside content does not enter those output pages. The trade-off is that cropped pages no longer keep searchable text, forms, links, or vector structure. Unselected pages are not rasterized, but the new document does not promise to retain outlines, attachments, form registration, metadata, or signatures.

Frequently asked questions

Can cropped-away content be restored?

Selected pages write only pixels inside the red box into their rebuilt pages, unlike a reversible CropBox hide. When only some pages are cropped, copied unselected pages may still reference shared source resources. For document-wide forensic removal, crop every page or use a full rebuild/permanent redaction workflow.

What happens to unselected pages?

Unselected pages are copied without rasterising their dimensions, visuals, or vector text. The output is still a new document, so outlines, attachments, document-level form registration, metadata, and signatures may be lost or invalidated.

Is text still searchable on cropped pages?

No. Selected pages are rebuilt as images to remove outside content permanently, so forms, links, searchable text, and vector structure are not retained.

Is the PDF uploaded?

No. Previewing, cropping, and PDF generation all happen locally in your browser.
