QWill my PDF be uploaded to a server?
No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser. The PDF never leaves your device, and we cannot access it.
QWhat is the difference between splitting every page and using custom ranges?
Split every page creates one single-page PDF per page. Custom ranges lets you define ranges such as 1–3 and 5–8, creating one PDF for each range.
QHow do I specify page ranges?
In custom-range mode, add a range and enter its first and last pages, where 1 ≤ first page ≤ last page ≤ total pages. You can also select a thumbnail to add that page quickly. Invalid ranges are ignored.
QHow many files will I get?
Splitting every page creates as many PDFs as there are pages. Range mode creates one PDF per valid range. A single result downloads as a PDF; two or more are bundled into a ZIP.
QCan I split an encrypted or password-protected PDF?
No. The tool cannot read password-protected PDFs. Unlock the file before adding it.
QWill splitting change the original file?
No. The tool only reads the file and creates new PDFs locally. It never changes or deletes the original.
